2011 Events
It is with pride that I can announce that today the 21st December 2011 I have been awarded the title MAITRE ARTISAN by the Chambre de Metier de la Manche. This title confirms my experience and expertise in antique restoration and classic car dashboard restoration and I am now able to use this new logo.

2009 Events
28th June 2009 We were at Torigni-sur-vire with our 1977 Austin mini. I am in the process of restoring it and then I am going to do my 'wood effect on metal' over the whole exterior of the car. I will then be able to use it as advertising and for exhibiting at classic car shows and of course my wife and children are very much looking forward to using it!
4th & 5th July 2009 We exhibited at 'Retro Festival' The Capital of Basse-Normandie Caen.
February 2009 We went to Paris for France's largest Classic Car Show 'Retromobile'
April 2009 I participated in our regions Artisans open weekend.
May 2009 French classic car magazine 'Gazoline' did a four page spread on Classic Dashboards
2008 Events
August 31 2008 We welcomed the Club des Volants du Chêne (club of Oak steering wheels) from Haute-Normandie and a few cars from the ROC Normandy de St Lô (50) during their weekend outing in our area.
The members of the club were invited to visit the workshop, shown examples and the tools that I use during my work restoring classic car dashboards. I carried out demonstrations of how I reveneer wooden dashboards. The members of the club all of whom bar one were French were very kind and forgave my many errors in French. I explained the techniques I use and the choices of veneer and finish. I also explained how I have recently introduced the wood-effect painted on metal dashboards.
